Wanted Dutch drug lord, Jos Leijdekkers’ first wife, Hanane has allegedly requested the extradition of her son to the Netherlands.
This information was made public by opposition politician, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray on his Facebook page on Saturday morning.
According to Mansaray, the son has been living in Sierra Leone with his father, Leijdekkers, and stepmother and daughter of Sierra Leone’s President, Agnes Bio, for the past couple of years.
The opposition politician claimed that the mother is requesting her son following the negative publicity surrounding the father lately.
“I am calling on Julius Maada Bio (Sierra Leone’s President) to hand over and give back Liam to his biological mother,” Mansaray noted on his Facebook page.
Leijdekkers is a Dutch wanted drug lord who is married to the daughter of Sierra Leone’s President. Authorities in the West African country denied knowing the cocaine kingpin but agreed that he entered the country with a nickname, Omar Sheriff from Turkiye.
The prominent drug lord, previously sentenced to over 20 years in prison by a court in Rotterdam, had not been seen in over two years. However, in January, he was reportedly spotted celebrating the New Year with the First Family in Bonthe, which is the President’s hometown in Southern Sierra Leone.
