Hundreds of families gathered Sunday at the Sheraton in Nashua for the 10th annual Kids Con New England.The event promotes art education and literacy through family-friendly comics, fun activities and workshops.More than 100 vendors, artists, authors and creators took part in the event, featuring live music, superhero training and magic shows.>> Download the free WMUR app to get updates on the go: Apple | Google Play <<Guests enjoyed live musical performances, superhero training, and magic shows."I wanted to create a safe space for families and thus Kids Con New England was born," said founder Emily Drouin. I also wanted to bring in all family friendly creators and have a fun safe space as well as have enjoyable activities for the kids and inspiring the next generation of creators."The next Kids Con New England is scheduled for November in South Portland, Maine.
